Fantastic Four 2 No Longer on Schedule

Interestingly, despite comments from Fox and Simon Kinberg, writer of the recent flop Fantastic Four, the sequel to the aforementioned film has recently been pulled from 20th Century Fox’s release schedule. Is it officially canceled? Or will Fox pull out more garbage in an effort to keep the property away from Marvel and Disney? Hopefully, Fox did the smart thing and gave the rights back, just so that everyone can begin to breathe easy again. Otherwise, we’ll still have to worry about a crossover movie with everyone’s favorite mutants at some point in the future.

Who else is excited that this terrible movie might not see a sequel? Let me know in the comments below, or send me a tweet through that widget on the left.
