Mark Millar’s Superior Gets Writers

Earlier today, Variety reported that the film adaptation of Mark Millar’s comic book Superior gained a few new writers. The Fox optioned property added Brandon and Phillip Murphy, the writing team behind 2014’s Black List script The Bringing, to adapt the superhero story.

In case you don’t remember, Superior follows a young boy with multiple sclerosis, whose wish to be the Superman-like hero Superior is granted by a space monkey. None of that sentence was made up in any way. I still recommend you read it though, because it’s actually a pretty good story.

Superior was originally released as a seven issue limited series in 2010.

The story might be a little bizarre, but will you go see it whenever it arrives in theaters? Let me know in the comments below, or with a tweet through that widget on the left.
