The Reverse-Flash is back!

Yeah genius, we knew that already.

Yes, but did you know why and how he comes back?

…No.

I don’t either.

EW posted an article earlier today with information on a number of different shows, one of which is The Flash. The executive producer of the show, Andrew Kreisberg, was quoted in the article as saying:

Time on our show does not unfold linearly…Sometimes you’ve seen events from one direction and then you start to see them from the other. This Reverse-Flash is not exactly the Reverse-Flash that we saw disintegrate at the end of the year. It’s a Reverse-Flash from an earlier timeline. It’s not the Earth-Two Reverse-Flash, it’s the Reverse-Flash. That is, hands down, one of our best episodes.

So this Reverse-Flash is the real Reverse-Flash?

Yep.

He’s the one who killed Cisco!

Maybe! It did say from an earlier timeline, and that’s one of the earliest ones we know of in the show.

But he’s not a clone? Robot? Suspended animation due to floating around frozen in a block of ice?

Just shut up and end the article.
