More news has surfaced regarding pictures and previously unconfirmed cast, which have been added to this post.

Fresh off of the release of their Captain America: Civil War magazine cover, Empire is back with even more images of the upcoming Marvel Studios film! Including their subscriber only cover, Empire revealed brand new looks at some of the characters in the film. On top of this, Empire also revealed two characters in the film. The first is the mysterious role played by Martin Freeman. Previously rumored to be the MCU version of Henry Gyrich (this guy from X-Men), Empire instead revealed that Freeman will be playing Everett K. Ross, a supporting character for T’Challa, aka the Black Panther. In the film, Ross will be a member of the Joint Counter Terrorist Centre.

The second is the long rumored “secret cameo” in the film, which (as confirmed by Empire) will be of Gwyneth Paltrow’s Pepper Potts, who fans haven’t seen since 2013’s Iron Man 3. It is currently unknown whether or not she’ll have any role beyond being Tony Stark’s emotional support this time around.

Captain America: Civil War will arrive in theaters on May 6th, 2016.
