Although originally announced with the subtitles Part I and Part II, it looks like the upcoming Avengers films will not actually be released under the announced titles. Speaking with Uproxx, directors Anthony and Joe Russo confirmed that both Infinity War films will receive a name change at some point in the future. Joe Russo was quoted as stating:

The intention is we will change it. We just haven’t come up with the titles yet. But, yes, we will change it. And, yes, that is a scoop: we will retitle them.

Whether or not the new titles draw from previous Marvel comic book stories (similar to Age of Ultron) remains to be seen.

Avengers: Infinity War Part I and Part II will arrive in theaters on May 2018 and May 2019, respectively.
