After the Russo brothers confirmed Star-Lord’s presence in the upcoming film Avengers: Infinity War last month, it seems as if the battle against Thanos is set to bring in more members of the Guardians of the Galaxy. While speaking with The Verge on Infinity War, screenwriters for the upcoming Avengers film, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, talked about the idea of keeping the film grounded, with Markus stating the following:

Also, whether they’re a 12-foot purple guy, or a raccoon, or an android, they’re all people, and we’re going to write them as people. You can’t write them any other way. So, ideally it will stay grounded because you’ll completely understand why the characters are doing what they’re doing, and you will in some way or another empathize.

How well do you think Rocket will get along with fellow smart mouth/tech genius Tony Stark once the Avengers make their way into space?

Avengers: Infinity War Part I and Part II will arrive in theaters on May 2018 and May 2019, respectively.
